Frequent Questions

What kind of chocolate is it?
Mini chocolates -We use a beautiful Cadbury milk chocolate made to a bite size.  They measure approx 4cm x 2cm.  These are perfect to serve in organza bags for bomboniere; in martini glasses on the guest's tables; served with coffee at any special occasion etc.
Our NEW Medium chocolates - Created due to a demand for a smaller chocolate than our large bar, yet still able to be personalised for place card settings.  These are made from delicious Cadbury milk chocolate made in a medium sized bar approx 9.5cm x 5.5cm.
New style Large 80g bars - they are specially made by the gourmet Perth chocolatier Whistlers fresh for us in creamy milk chocolate which ensures a long use by date.  A gorgeous and substantial gift for your guests.  They can be individually printed with your guest's names to use as place settings.

Is printing/changing artwork etc an extra charge?
No. We offer complimentary design changes until you’re 100% happy with the design. Large and medium bars may have a different message on each bar (i.e. place settings/bomboniere in 1). They can be packed table by table to assist you.
Mini chocolate messages can differ for each lot of 20 minis. (They are printed on a sheet of 20).

How do I pay?
Perth customers may pay cash on pick up from Hillarys. We accept cheques, cash, bank deposit or credit card via paypal.  Please note that a desposit will be required for cash pick ups.

Do you only do Weddings?
No. We make chocolates for all occasions, - kids birthdays, adults birthdays, businesses, Christenings, Wedding anniversaries, Christmas etc. Some customers just like to keep some on hand at home for when friends come for coffee!

Can you send them to me, but won’t they melt?
We take every precaution!   We send many of our orders interstate.  We wrap the chocolates in tissue paper, bubble wrap & corrugated cardboard cake box. We send to a work address/PO Box or c/- a post office to avoid them sitting in a home mailbox where they risk melting. We only use Express Post to ensure they take less than 2 working days to get to you.  You are welcome to pick them up from our home office in Hillarys. Please note though once they leave our hands, we will not be responsible for them melting in the post or your car.  You need to take this into account when ordering perishable products from anywhere.

How much notice do you need to do our chocolates?
Please allow 2 weeks (or more if you have it!). You are welcome to choose and finalise the design as early as you like before you need the chocolates, then we can hold off wrapping them until 3 or 4 weeks before the event to ensure the chocolate is fresh.

Do you offer a discount?
We will have promotions from time to time so please add your details to our customer base on the 'Contact Us' page.  Your details will never be shared with any other company.

Why does the price vary for the same products?  i.e. mini chocolates?
This is due to the premium paper used (it's much more expensive for us to buy!) rather than the satin 100% recycled paper we stock, whilst some large bars take longer to assemble than others, therefore you only pay for what you use!.
